2015, "This summer, hungry visitors to the Smorgasburg market’s location in Lower Manhattan’s Seaport district will also be able to satisfy their appetite for contemporary architecture." http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/05/11/seaport-smorgasburg-design-guild/?_r=0 "The structures are defined by a white, steel skeleton with inset perforated metal panels that provide shade from the summer sun and promotes constant air flow amongst the structures. The roof of the pods were constructed using translucent twin wall - a material that allows for natural light to filter through, while providing protection from the weather elements. Wood architectural features throughout bring natural warmth to the faceted forms. The overall design of the environment aims to provide a dynamic counterpart to the historic neighborhood, by merging references of iconic architecture with contemporary design - a testament to true form and function." -Guild
